polished but that's also functional; same thing goes for interior spaces. I think that in our society it is easy to over decorate rooms and over accessories outfits. But if we take a step back and recognize what the overall function of the room is, then you will have an easier time choosing pieces that are effortlessly beautiful all on their own.
When deciding on buying different pieces its important to know what you want to splurge on and what you dont want to spend a lot of money on. When buying things for the home I tend to spend more money on the bigger pieces. I like knowing that items like the couch or dinning table can take a lot of wear and tear and that they also have a timeless beauty to them, you don't want to spend a lot of money on a couch that you cant see yourself using for at least five or eight years. The same rule of thumb goes with buying clothes, there are some items that you might want to spend more money on, for me it would be a nice leather jacket and black pointed heels.
With much love,
Morgan
