Friday's Favorites: Super Cool Lighting

This week's favorites: Extremely cool lights. There is something about a light fixture that makes it a work of art in itself, and for that reason, this week's Friday's faves is some of the coolest light fixtures around. Take for instance Rough South Home. I just discovered this super awesome company and they are AMAZING! They make custom pieces as well as some really cool furniture out of pallets and other reusable materials. I suggest checking it out (number 4 below is one of there creations). As always, West Elm and Anthropologie are coming in clutch with the unique lighting. And Modoluce, another company I just came across has some of the most interesting light fixtures, unlike any I've seen before. I can easily see these guys making it into most of my future commercial projects.

It's easier than you think; you can go to your local Home Depot or Lowe's and pick up the basic hook up system for the light switch and light bulb, and from there you can make pretty much anything into a light! Use your imagination!
