For todays favorites I am going to be talking about the different trending wall treatments. Many people think of their walls as a blank canvas, but with all these new wall treatments they can be less blank and more of an artistic expression that works as the backdrop to the rest of the room. No matter what you call home whether you own or rent there is a wall treatment that works for you.
Venetian Plaster:
If you like the look of Old Hollywood Glamour look then this is the wall treatment for you. The plaster produces more of a layered look, that creates a sense of depth in any room. My personal favorite is when its done in black! I mean look at how modestly beautiful it is in the first image.

Wall Paneling:
When used correctly, this technique can make any room look and feel more sophisticated. Depending on how you handle the paneling will make the room feel entirely different. In some rooms when the paneling is painted in the same color on the wall created this sense of luxury.
Wall Coverings and Wallpaper
I love wall coverings there are so many great wall covering options now, and it can be easily used in just about any room. Wall coverings are just another layer to add to any room that brings color and texture, like a great Phillip Jeffries grasscloth. There are even waterproof wall coverings that aren't that nasty vinyl! so you can use them in the bathroom!!
Wallpaper:
Wallpaper is just as great as well. there are so many choices when it comes to wallpaper and there is also removable wallpaper which is easy to DIY (if I can figure it out you can too) and perfect for dressing up that rental!!
Hope you liked all of the different wall treatments! There are so many different things to do with your walls other than painting them(or NOT painting them) you just have to have an open mind and go with it!
