Springsations: Fiddle Leaf Figs & Floral Prints

With the official start of Spring only a few days away, it's time to prepare for some fresh air and sunny afternoons. Although this might seem like an impossibility since most of the ground still appears white & there's another storm forecasted for this weekend.. the time WILL come. So, that's why I'm encouraging you to start early and speed up the process.

We've been talking about the Spring a lot after this dreadful winter, but now is the time to hop in. Although the flowers might not be ready to bloom and no gardening can be done just yet, it's still possible to bring some of these Springsations indoors.. With plants and prints! My personal favorite is the fiddle leaf fig tree; nothing says brightening up a corner like this thing! Also, there are so many amazing floral prints out these days, there's barely a need for real flowers yet. So here are some ideas and inspiration to get you thinking SPRING, when it seems like it still might not come, even though the official start is just days away.

Fridays Favorites: Kate Spade & West Elm

As if Kate Spade and West Elm weren't enough on their own.... I don't think this new collaboration could be any more perfect! I need to put a lock on my bank account so that I don't get too tempted to buy everything in the new line of home decor. If you haven't checked this out yet... I suggest you do so immediately. They have the best patterns to add a fun and quirky addition to your space. So for this week's favorites.. here are my favorite items from this awesome new line!

Unique Color Combinations

Sometimes a little bit of unexpected color can make a world of a difference in a space. While I was browsing through some great designs today, I decided on some of my favorite color combinations to use if you want to make a bold statement. These unique color combos can transform a whole room.

1. Green and Black. There is something so sophisticated and cool about adding this combination into a space. It can be done using plants, to create a more organic feel, or through amazing wallpapers, paint colors, decor accents, or furniture. Here are some of my favorite spaces that use green and black so well.
